Hardstop Records artist The Transference takes the stage at Ravenswood Manor Park for an evening of indie rock, power pop, and richly layered Chicago sound.
Led by singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Laura Hollingsworth, The Transference pairs dark, reflective themes with playful lyrics, lush harmonies, and bright pop-rock arrangements. Their songs move between synths, vibraphone, harmonium, pedal steel, and melodic guitar lines, creating music that feels catchy on first listen and more intricate every time you come back to it.
They’ll be joined by Midamerican Elevator, a Chicago indie rock band fronted by Paxton Long and Beni Yuzawa. Blending 90s nostalgia, shoegaze textures, and harmony-driven songwriting, Midamerican Elevator brings sparkly guitars, driving rhythms, and the kind of layered sound that has made them a standout in the local music scene.
Come out for a summer night of live music, local bands, and independent Chicago sound.
